Breed All About It!

For those of you who follow me on social media, you might have noticed that I have not been painting nearly as much as I normally do in the last couple of months. I’ve been working on a new painting project and chose to keep it under wraps until a certain amount of it was completed. Well, today is the day! May I present… 

Drum roll please… 

BREED ALL ABOUT IT!

Breed All About It, a series of approximately 60 small paintings, will capture the essence of dog breeds through portraiture. Each painting will be a display of the breed’s personality as well as its conformation. The paintings will be hung together in a traveling show (more about that to come later), and signed prints of each painting, as well as of the entire collection, will be available for purchase. Pillows, towels, blankets, and trivets featuring Breed All About It will also be available for special order, and proceeds from the project will be donated to various local rescue organizations.

A book featuring the project is also in the works, but I don’t have a lot of details about that to share just yet. 

Although people love my pet portraits, I am often asked if I have paintings, prints, or gift items highlighting specific dog breeds. By September (hopefully) I will be able to say that I do! Of course I will continue to paint pet portraits, but I think Breed All About It will be a good option for those who don’t have the budget for a custom painting of their pet.
